I run Villa Waves with my partner Daniela. I'm a New Zealander who has lived in the UK for the last 30 years, we have been involved in construction and developing residential homes in London and try to put our personal taste and experience we use in our every day lives, and into Villa Waves.

Why Hugh and Daniela Pettifer chose Perama

I was looking to buy land and build in Corfu when I stumbled onto a picture of the villa. I asked the agent to send me a photo from the front of the property to which she replied we will need to hire a boat to do that. I was hooked and booked a flight. When I saw Villa Waves she was very run down but the challenge to make it into a beautiful holiday villa was to much to resist.

What makes this Villa unique

From the first moment I stood on the terrace and looked down at the beech and out to sea (the mainland to the left, the mountains to the right), I knew this property had a lot to give with its secluded beach and breathtaking views.
