It was truly wonderful to be back at Villa Waves again after an incredible time last year. The villa has improved in several ways such as the new filtered drinking water tap which allows you to fill up bottles and glasses which was very convenient, additional fishing rods which enabled us to catch lots of fish from the jetty and from the boat, plus a new TV and sound system.

We enjoyed the homely furnishings and warm touches on the villa and the kitchen was very well equipped with a new coffee machine and mixer! The paddle boards were amazing and we used the kayaks to paddle all the way to Benitses (the nearby town). Thank you very much to our hosts Hugh and Daniela who were very attentive, welcoming and friendly. We have loved our second year at Villa Waves and look forward to coming again soon!

We have had such a fantastic week in this little slice of Paradise by the Sea - As 3 couples on a group holiday we all had enough privacy to chill when we wanted to , but also so many different areas to gather and be social, depending whether we were worshipping or shading from the Sun. Mornings catching the sunrise and relaxing on the jetty , kayaking and snorkelling were awesome - Attempting to paddleboard was a hilarious group activity , as were the evenings on the roof terrace with cocktails , music and entertaining games of Uno into the early hours !

Going out on the boat with Hugh was brilliant , a much more relaxing option than hiring it out ourselves , Both Hugh and Daniella were incredibly kind and helpful and enjoyed spending time with them in Benitses ( Look forward to a trip on Coruba next time !) The hot tub is amazing and though we did not use it much it's a great addition to the villa experience- Even on the one stormy day we had , the main terrace was sheltered enough for us to chill out on and take some fab photo's !!!

Superbly equipped villa for a family stay. Great kitchen and BBQ. Hugh was great to help us settle in and local information about restaurants, beaches etc. Very high standard of decor with lots of nice spaces and terraces to relax and unwind, with gorgeous views of the sea, hot tub and much more.

Amazingly situated villa with fantastic views from all parts of the villa of the sea and Greece/Albania coast. Direct access to a warm sea for swimming and great free facilities for paddle boards, kayaks which we used every day…. and there is a boat (extra charge) if you wish. Easy to get to from airport. We parked about 50 yds away outside nearby hotel. We would love to return soon.

We stayed at Villa Waves as a family of four, for a week in June. We wished it could have been longer! The accommodation was beautifully clean and well looked after and had everything we needed. The owners, Hugh and Daniela were welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble and they had thought of lots of little extras which made the holiday feel really special and run smoothly. The villa is right overlooking the beach, and staying so close to the sea was really relaxing, yet at the same time active which meant all of us were happy doing exactly what we wanted. Lots of areas within the villa provided both shade and full on sun for sun bathing.

My husband loves fishing and was able to take one of the kayaks out and cast a line and even fished off the balcony! Our son is very active and loved exploring using the kayaks and paddle boards. The four of us spent a lot of time in and out of the sea, paddle boarding, swimming with full face snorkels and kayaking along the coast. Loved pulling up at a taverna in the Kayak, having breakfast and then paddling back to the villa to read my book! All of the equipment was provided at the villa. They even had a selection of different sized swim shoes! The villa is situated on a busy road, but once in the villa, we didn't notice it and, as we had hired a car, it was great that we could head straight off from the villa to explore different areas of the island.

Bedrooms are arranged over two floors, so for us, it meant that our adult children, 18 and 22 had their own floor, including ensuite bathroom. They also loved being able to play music and watch films using the hifi cinema sound system and up to the minute audio visual apps, connected through the big screen TV or the Alexa Studio. Hugh and Daniela were able to recommend places to eat and we really enjoyed being able to sample local cuisine as well as barbecuing and cooking food athe villa and eating with a panaramic sea view! We all talk about the holiday regularly and will definitely be returning.

We had an amazing week in October, the weather was wonderful so we where able to swim every day. It was great to have the paddle boards and the SUP’s. Loved the outdoor areas, there where so many that we could all use an area without being on top of each other. Hot tub was an added bonus and the children loved it. Special mention for Craig who was so helpful and kept us up to date with many things.
