Beautiful property with stunning view!

We absolutely loved Villa Waves! The house is stylish and well equipped, clean and we appreciated the air conditioning in the bedrooms. The gardens and outdoor space really are beautiful. There are a number of terraces, all with sea views and the sun terrace on top of the house is amazing in the daytime and the evening. The kayaks and close proximity to the sea (it couldn't be any closer) were great for us. The children spent most of the time in the sea or in the kayaks, the younger ones in our group were very reluctant to leave the property. The hot tub was also a hit with them in the evening. Hugh (the owner) was very helpful throughout the booking process and with the directions. The welcome pack when we got there was a very nice surprise (and was very generous). The prosecco and cold beers were very welcome when we arrived! I really can't fault the property or suggest any improvements. We enjoyed everything about our stay and the island. We are just now very depressed to be back home in the rain and wind. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful!

What magic views from breakfast till late at night! We loved our morning swim in the christal clear water, just down the steps and then afterwards warming up in the jacuzzi!! Luxury! We fell in love with Corfu as well! Thanks for this lovely experience! Best regards, Iris.

My family, wife & two boys stayed in August 2016. From the start of the booking process, Hugh & Olivia were so helpful, even helping to arrange the hire car. The Villa is finished to a very high standard throughout, with all the amenities you could need. The views from all the terraces were breathtaking and we all spent many a sunrise / sunset enjoying them. The added bonus of the Kayaks proved very popular and there are pretty good snorkelling areas to see lots of smaller fish. There are reasonable enough restaurants in walking distance, but we found a few gems in Benistas, which unfortunately requires a car to get to. Corfu Town is about a 15 minute drive and was stunning. We hired a boat on the beach about 300 yards from the Villa. I would recommend going to book a few days before as some of the boats cost more in fuel to run. We ended up paying nearly as much for fuel as the boat hire cost. If water parks are your thing, there is one to the west of Corfu town and takes about 25-30mins to get to. We had a hire car and were able to see lots of the island and would say that this is essential. All in all one of the best holidays we have enjoyed as a family..made even more perfect by the stunning accommodation Thanks Hugh & Daniela for letting us hire it from you. We may return one day, but so much of the world to see.

Visited at the end of Aug 2016 and it was amazing. The villa is maintained to a very high standard and the communication with Hugh throughout the process was very good. The Villa is easy to find and the directions given from the airport excellent. The highlight has got to be the location and the Kayaks, which were used every day. The sunrise every morning was just spellbinding and there are plenty of outdoor areas to spread yourself and your family around, if you want that moment of peace. I didn't want to leave, and was thinking of hiding out in the downstairs 'apartment' for the rest of the year, but sadly I couldn't!

Beautiful villa, wonderful holiday

Just returned from Villa Waves after 2 fantastic weeks with my wife, 3 children plus one partner. The villa is beautifully furnished and easily accommodated the 6 of us. It's clear to see that the owners have kitted the villa out to their own high standard. There is just about all you need here from a fully fitted kitchen (including dishwasher) to good quality wifi, 2 kayaks, lilo's, snorkeling and wet shoes etc. Location wise it is a 5 minute drive from Benitses where we found the restaurants to be of a good standard (albeit that walking past them is rather like running the gauntlet as each one has people desperately trying to usher you in). Corfu old town is a 15 minute drive and is a really pretty town with a huge selection of bars and restaurants - some of a standard that would not be out of place in London! Truly magnificent sea views, we loved waking up to the sound of the waves literally directly below us - watching the sunrise is a must and if you happen to be there during a full moon this is also a spectacular sight over the beautiful calm waters. The rooftop terrace is fantastic, we spent many hours there taking in the views and the sun. At night the blue lights give it a surreal and relaxing feel - ideal for a nightcap!! The beach is shingle/rock but no problem once you get in the habit of pulling on the wet shoes before climbing down the ladder, and the sea is as clear as you will see anywhere in the world. We used the kayaks to row to the next bay (10 mins casual rowing towards Benitses) where there is a lovely bar/ restaurant. I would recommend hiring a boat for the day - we hired from the next bay (where the bar is) paid Euro 120 for 8 hours for the 6 of us. We had to pay fuel on top, about Euro 30 so all in all very reasonable - head towards the south of the island to the fishing village - best fresh fish we had. Also had great fun hiring quad bikes and exploring the island - hired from Benitses front, farthest end of row of restaurants/ shops. We paid Euro 50 per bike per day plus fuel - well worth doing although take care on the roads! I would definitely recommend this villa, it is clean, spacious, fully furnished with best sea views imaginable. Thank you Hugh for being so helpful & for a great holiday. Mark, Nat & family
